Dr. Michele Parde is proud to be a local gal growing up on a dairy farm outside of Panama. She attended Norris High School, where she was active in 4-H and FFA. She received her BS from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her DVM from Kansas State University. She began her veterinary career at a large and small
animal practice in southwest Michigan. After 2 years, she missed her Huskers, and returned home to plant some roots in southeast Nebraska. For the past 15 years she has continued her mixed animal work focusing on small animals, cattle, goats and occasionally horses.
In addition to clinical veterinary work, Dr. Parde is a member of LEDRS (Livestock Emergency Disease Response System) and also serves as treasurer for the Southeast Nebraska Cattlemen Organization. When she’s not spending weekends with family showing cattle, she enjoys spending time with friends, gardening and watching sports. She purchased the family farm where she lives with a herd of cats (Blaze, Munchkin and Riley) and her crazy mixed mutt (Jersey).
